DJ/VJ Sumation ( aka Sum Wong )

DJ Sumation(Sum Wong) brings an energetic frequency of musical vibes, he taps into his fans and audience and electrifies the sound waves by combining all genres of music and styles that make his listeners urge for more.
In 2015, Sum starts his own company "Sumation Entertainment Inc." which provides DJ services, sound system for small-mid sizes room events (weddings, birthdays, corporate & fundraisers ) and events consultations.
Last year in 2016, Sum won the Best DJ at the Queer Choice Awards.

His current residency includes College Night at Crews & Tangos, Fly2.0 Saturdays at FLY2.0 Nightclub, Steamworks, AsianXpress, Pitbull Events, SIN & Jockstrap at Black Eagle and FML at Flash on Church.

As well, you’ll find DJ Sumation spins at events like: Reese's Mix-it-up Campaign, Hollywood North TIFF VIP Party 2015-now, City Of Toronto’s WinterCity Festival 2010 , TIFF'12 Designing 007 Opening Gala, TIFF'10 Filmmaker's Lounge, SNAP, Walk For Life, FashionCares with ACT and numerous charity events (Movember, National Ballet School, PWA, ArtWherk Fundraiser, MS Society of Canada, etc) in the city.

His venues as resident & guest DJ (both local & international) so far include: SPLASH ( New York), Boite Le Cueva ( Rio, Brazil ), Club New York ( Rio, Brazil ), Godmother Saigon Bar (HCM City, Vietnam), Centro Lounge & Bar (HCM City, Vietnam), Last Call (HCM City, Vietnam), CODA, the Barn Nightclub, Byzantium, Flash on Church, Goodhandy's/CLUB120, Xyclo Lounge, Lo’la Lounge, Slack’s, Zipperz, SMITHEl Mocambo, Circa Nightclub, Fly Nightclub, 5ive Nightclub, Buddies In Bad Times, Mode Events, Wayla Bar, Alto, Voglie, Fuzion, Alibi, Vice, Byzantium, Comfort Zone (CZ), Black Eagle Tor, AsianXpress parties(co-founder as well), Sodom at Club120, Pitbull Events, PRISM Events & Pride Toronto Polar Ice Stage (including twice being the closing street party DJ & also spotlight DJ) & more.

Since Feb, 2011 Sumation also added on VJ to his resume & pilot a new video dance party "ROCKET" at FLY Nightclub during 2011!
